Bankruptcy Information
Here you will find basic information related to bankruptcy.
If you are genuinely unable to keep up with your repayments and are avoiding your creditors because of your unpaid bills, maybe you are considering filing for bankruptcy. Even though it is seen as a last resort, it is a method or recourse given to those who genuinely cannot afford to honor their debts.
Once you apply for bankruptcy, it then becomes a legal process wherein the bankruptcy courts take over. It may take a while for you to become solvent again, but you can achieve that goal with some assistance. Bankruptcy information is also a way for your assets to be shared equally by your creditors. However, you should look into other alternatives to bankruptcy before you actually take the step of filing for it.
For instance, you could think about an arrangement where you informally negotiate with your creditors. Or, in a formalized version of the same, an Individual Voluntary Agreement, wherein you present a formal arrangement with your creditors to pay off your debts in installments or packages that are convenient to you. Of course, even this arrangement would cost you, so make sure of all possible costs before you commit to it.
